Lawrence Innovation, LLC started in March of 2020 - right in the middle of the Covid Pandemic and shutdown.
“After my position in transformative innovation was eliminated at Lubrizol in January of 2020 as part of the global layoffs, I started getting calls from past customers and colleagues to help them grow their business. I got the bug to start my own business when I worked with a talented business development team at Lubrizol to expand the industrial digital print market. I was inspired by technology innovators around the world and wanted to help them grow.
In February, the stock market hit an all-time high and I decided to go all in to help others grow their businesses. Covid-19 delayed revenues by 1-2 months. My initial clients saw their business evaporate overnight. It forced me network quickly. The silver lining of Covid-19 was that it halted business travel. My target audience was suddenly available for calls and virtual voice of customer interviews. In a normal business environment, these senior executives would have had their schedules booked months in advance and been spending time on airplanes”
